Maurice Fearenside

Physiotherapist | Pilates Instructor

Maurice is a YOUnique Health and Wellbeing physiotherapist. He utilises his understanding of each patient being an individual to generate treatment plans personally tailored through his findings from discussions and physical testing. He can help with:

  • Neck pain and headaches
  • Back pain
  • Chronic pain and other long-term conditions
  • Other acute injuries from work or sport

Maurice enjoys providing hands on manual therapy as a component of his treatment such as joint mobilisation, massage, muscle release and targeted stretching. He is passionate about breaking down the traditional health professional – patient barrier and encourages discussion as well as enquiring from the patient so that both patient and practitioner have a deeper understanding to collaboratively progress forward with treating the condition.

Maurice believes self-management at home of a condition is equally important to the treatment provided in the clinic and will provide targeted exercises to address various factors of the condition to quicken recovery and create a lasting result.

“This was my first mindfulness workshop, and I loved it! The way Diana conveyed her messages really resonated with many aspects of my life. After having attended this workshop, I believe that mindfulness is the key to achieving balance, appreciation in life and overall happiness.
